What is a Pipeline Leak Audit?

A fixed-scope review of the five places owner-led firms lose business they already earned: the yes that never gets booked, the follow-up that never happens, the meeting that ends with no next step, the dormant list nobody reworks, and the referral partner nobody nurtures. You send a short data pull, we spend one 45 to 60 minute working session on your real cases, and within 48 hours you get a one to two page map ranked by revenue at risk, with the one fix worth doing first. It costs $1,500 and credits in full toward Phase 1 if you start within 30 days.

How is this different from a lead generation agency?

A lead generation agency is paid to produce meetings. I'm paid to help you turn interest into clients, starting with the interest you already have. Most firms I see don't have a lead problem. They have people who said yes and were never booked, calls that ended with no next step, and past clients nobody has written to in years. I've also seen what happens when a firm buys meetings without anything underneath them: the meetings happen, nothing closes, and the agency gets the blame. Outreach without follow-up and conversion is the work that creates churn.

Do you post on LinkedIn for me?

No. Posts aren't part of Phase 2. Writing in your name isn't the center of this work, and I won't ask you to become someone who posts every day. Reach and buyers are different things. If you want help with posts, we can talk about it separately.

I'm very busy with client work. Will this still work?

Busy owners are who this is built for, since that's the reason the pipeline goes quiet. The system is designed so most of the work doesn't route through you. We agree in advance how to answer the common replies, so most go out the same business day and only the unusual ones wait for you. What I can't do is take your calls for you. If you can't make room for the conversations themselves, we should talk about that first.

How much of my time does it take?

In Phase 1, about two hours a week: a one-hour working session plus reacting to drafts. In Phase 2, about three hours a week, most of it a 30-minute daily list, plus a 30-minute weekly review and the calls themselves.

What results should I expect, and when?

It depends on how much warm interest is already sitting in your firm. The early results are usually old business, not new: yeses that get booked, past clients who reply, conversations that finally get a next step. When owners write plainly to people they've actually worked with, replies come back about half the time in my experience, which is far better than anything you'll get from strangers. Clients come from conversations, and how fast those close depends on your sales cycle, which for most of the firms I work with is measured in months. Phase 1 takes a baseline in week one and re-measures it in week six, so you'll know from your own numbers whether anything moved.

What does the audit actually tell me?

Where your business is leaking, ranked by revenue at risk, and the one fix worth doing first. It's a one to two page map based on your real cases, delivered within 48 hours of our working session. It's yours whether or not we go further, and if the right answer is that you don't need me, it will say so.

What happens if we stop?

You keep everything: the decision log, the weekly numbers, the playbook in your voice, the templates, the tracker. Phase 2 terms are the first three months, then month to month. The point of documenting it all is that you can carry on without me, or hand it to someone else.

Who isn't a fit?

Firms with no clients or network yet, looking to create demand from a standing start. Owners who want to hand off business development entirely and never engage with it. Firms that can't say who their ideal client is. And anyone comparing this to inexpensive outreach packages that promise meetings: that's a different product, and I'm not trying to compete with it.

Why is it priced this way?

The audit is priced like the real deliverable it is, not a discovery call in disguise, and it credits toward Phase 1 so it costs you nothing extra if you continue. Phase 1 is a flat fee because the scope is fixed and you shouldn't have to watch a clock. Phase 2 starts with three months because that's about when most owners see a real change in their conversations. After that it's month to month, because I'd rather keep earning it than lock you in.

Do I need a CRM or special software?

No. Many owner-led firms run perfectly well on a spreadsheet and a calendar. If what you already use works, we use it. The system is the habits and the weekly review, not the software.

Who actually does the work?

I do the diagnosis, the strategy, the messages, and the conversion coaching. Val Lewis of Discovering Excellence is a trusted collaborator on some engagements. You take the conversations.

Do you only work with firms in St. Louis?

No. I'm based in St. Louis and work with owner-led firms across the United States, mostly by video call.

What does it cost, all in?
